Support for the vulnerable members of our community who are suffering from the Coronavirus Crisis.

This is an appeal to help and support the vulnerable members of our community and in particular, those who have no income or help from the Government and no right to apply for any social security benefits.

Pakistan forum is a registered charity and has launched an appeal to help and support those who have been quarantined at home and struggling to support themselves and their families due to no income or help at all. Our volunteers are already helping those who can’t get out for their shopping including groceries or medical prescriptions. If you are in isolation and have kids but no income due to the lockdown, please contact us and we will try to help you. We have many generous people in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire who are donating towards this cause but much more needs to be done.

Please contact us on the link below with your details and one of our volunteers will contact you to discuss your needs. We will try to help and support you as much as we can.

Appeal:

COVID-19 is continuously spreading throughout the world and will affect the day to day lives of millions of people in the United Kingdom. There are many deaths already and more to come due to this virus and most of the people are in quarantine to protect themselves. As a result of their isolation, they have no work and no income at all.

The government has announced help for the employed towards their salary, self-employed towards their net income and unemployed through Universal Credit. But there are plenty of families who have no income and can’t claim benefits because they have restricted visas for example; people with limited leave to remain with no social security benefits, overseas students and refugees.

Elderly are not the only most vulnerable people to coronavirus but there are others who can’t afford to stock up on groceries and supplies.

We are preparing packs consisting of essentials, which will be distributed to those who are struggling to afford the costs.

£60 – Essential family food box
£10 – Essential protection kits for a family including gloves, sanitizers and masks
£10 – Medications: Paracetamols, Calpol
£30 – Help towards utility bills.

This is the time to help your neighbours in need and there is much reward from God.

Please give generously.
