I pray you are all doing well in these testing times. I know we are all worried about the pandemic we are facing and will be concerned about the future here especially financially. I want to remind myself and you all that giving sadaqa when in difficulty yourself is more reward-able by the Almighty Allah (swt). So this is a time more to give sadaqa and have trust in Allah (swt).
It is really sad that we have a hospital building in Pakistan which is derelict due to a debt on it, and we can only make use of it once the debt is paid off. The debt has increased from £8000 to around £10,000 as the pound fell to its lowest in 35 years. Before it falls further we need to come together and get this paid off asap and then we can use this building to help those affected by the pandemic in Pakistan in’sha’ Allah.
We want to also let you know that anyone who donates £100 or more will have a chance to give a name which we will put on a plaque at the hospital site in’sha’Allah and we will be arranging a khatam of Quran every week at the hospital where we will be praying for all those who donated and with the mention of all names of those of you who help us save this project.
Please please do come forward and help us save this great project. those who can donate more than £100 please do so and those who can’t please donate whatever you can and forward this appeal please. Some of you may be in a position to give a Qarza-e-Hasana (interest-free loan) then please do get in touch ASAP. We will in’sha’Allah be giving a book called ‘Dear Beloved Son’ to all those who donate £50 or more in’sha’Allah. This book is compiled of the advice given by Imam ghazali to his disciples in various circumstances, so please do come forward and benefit in this world and the next in’sha’Allah.
Remember the best time to give is when you are in a difficult situation yourself, so this is the time for all of us to get together and help in this noble cause.
